Description
These rice paper booklets are all-natural, plant-based and handmade by the staff of our Fair trade factory in Kathmandu, Nepal.
The rice paper is made from the bark of the Lokta plant, the Daphne Papyracea. This shrub grows high in the mountains in Nepal, above 2000 meters.
The bark of the shrub grows new each time, so there is no need for replanting and the Himalayas remain uncontaminated.
For booklet number 8, the outside is finished with organic hemp.
